There was something for everyone on the roster at Malakoff, across genres, but it was a selection of the rock acts we had come to see, something the festival sees as its focus (even the food stall is called “Rockemat”)
Festival season is upon us once again and it’s time to dust down tents, boots, and all manner of festival paraphernalia. With the weather forecast looking good, roads looking clear and friendly reunions aplenty, it looks like it’s going to be a cracking weekend of music and fun.
Eagles Of Death Metal kicked off their 24th Anniversary Tour in front of a sold out crowd at Chalk in Brighton, England. Norway Rock Magazine was there to check it out, before the tour arrives in Oslo next April. Jesse Hughes kept asking the crowd “Can you dig it?” – yes, we dug it.
At Eagles Of Death Metal noensinne skulle stå på en scene igjen etter det som skjedde på Bataclan i Paris 13 november i fjor, var ingen selvfølge.
